The mission of the Hot Springs Documentary Film Institute is to advance the documentary genre as a meaningful art form, to provide unique educational and cultural opportunities, and to establish HSDFF as the premier documentary film festival in the world. Submissions are now open!
Known around the circuit for its warm hospitality, HSDFF provides transportation to and from the Little Rock Airport, complimentary festival passes, and a travel stipend for attending filmmakers. All filmmakers become honored guests at The Filmmakers' Celebration, a high-profile gala event held during the closing weekend of the Festival. HSDFF also makes every attempt to facilitate networking opportunities for filmmakers to meet with visiting distributors and other industry professionals.
