White Sands Film Festival
In the Spotlight this week is the 7th Annual WHITE SANDS INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL (WSIFF), dedica
ted to bringing filmmakers and audiences together to better appreciate cinema. The WSIFF screens outstanding short- and feature-length documentaries and narratives of all genres from around the world, with a special focus on Latino and New Mexican filmmaking.

Throughout the festival, participants have the opportunity to network with like-minded artists and industry professionals at a variety of events, including workshops, film screenings, interviews, after parties, and awards galas.
Numerous filmmakers and on-screen talent have attended WSIFF, including noted Mexican auteur Arturo Ripstein (LA REINA DE LA NOCHE), writer-director Mark Medoff (CHILDREN OF A LESSER GOD), director Alejandro Monteverde (BELLA), director François Girard (THE RED VIOLIN), and actors Val Kilmer, Wes Studi, Linda Hamilton, and Ali Landry.
